Prohibited items
Tripzok moves things on two-wheelers, autos, cars and small trucks — not in a regulated cargo network. That limits what can be carried safely and legally. This list applies to every parcel and goods booking, and to anything a customer tries to bring into a ride.
1. Never allowed
- Narcotics, psychotropic substances, poppy straw, cannabis and any controlled drug.
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, detonators, crackers and fireworks.
- Sharp weapons, knives designed as weapons, and any item banned under the Arms Act.
- Counterfeit currency, counterfeit goods, and documents of title such as blank cheques or property papers.
- Human remains, body parts, organs, blood or other biological samples requiring regulated transport.
- Live animals and birds, and wildlife or wildlife products protected by law.
- Pornographic material, and any material that is unlawful to possess or distribute.
- Stolen property, or anything being moved to avoid detection by an authority.
- Cash, bullion, jewellery, precious stones, and negotiable instruments.
2. Dangerous goods
These are refused regardless of quantity, because a two-wheeler or a shared cab cannot carry them safely:
- Compressed gases, LPG cylinders, oxygen cylinders and aerosols in bulk.
- Petrol, diesel, kerosene, thinner, paint, solvents and other flammable liquids.
- Acids, alkalis, bleach, pesticides, and corrosive or toxic chemicals.
- Batteries that are damaged, swollen or leaking; loose lithium cells; vehicle batteries.
- Fireworks, matches in bulk, and anything that can self-ignite.
- Infectious or medical waste, and sharps that are not in an approved container.
3. Restricted items
These may be carried only where the sender holds a valid licence or permit, and only where the service is available for it. When in doubt, ask support before booking — not after the partner has arrived.
- Alcohol and tobacco products — permitted only for licensed businesses with an accompanying invoice.
- Prescription medicines — only in sealed original packaging, with a prescription copy.
- Perishable food — only with agreed packaging, and never for long-distance goods trips.
- Glass, ceramics, mirrors, artwork and electronics — accepted with declared value and proper packing, at the sender's risk.
- Industrial equipment and machine parts — subject to weight and dimension limits below.
4. Size and weight limits
| Service | Maximum weight | Maximum size |
|---|---|---|
| Parcel (two-wheeler) | 10 kg | Must fit safely on the carrier — no item longer than 60 cm |
| Goods — tempo | 500 kg | Load must fit inside the body with the door closed |
| Goods — mini truck | 750 kg | Load must be secured and must not overhang |
Loads that exceed the booked limits may be refused on the spot, or re-priced before loading. A partner is never required to carry an unsafe load to complete a booking.
5. Safe packing
- Seal liquids in a plastic bag, then in a rigid box — assume the parcel will be tilted.
- Pad fragile items on all six sides. Mark the box “fragile” — but do not rely on the label alone.
- Keep the total weight balanced, and never let anything protrude from the carrier.
- Attach the recipient's name and a reachable number; the handover OTP is what completes delivery.
- Photograph the packed item before handover. It is the fastest way to settle a damage claim.
6. If you are a partner
- You may inspect any parcel before accepting it, and you may refuse a booking without penalty if you reasonably believe it holds a prohibited or dangerous item.
- Do not open sealed packaging beyond what is needed to confirm it is safe — if you are unsure, contact support before loading.
- Never carry a load that is unsecured, overweight, or that blocks your view or balance.
- Report any attempt to send a prohibited item through the partner app immediately.
7. Consequences
Booking a prohibited item is a material breach of the terms of service. Depending on the item, we may cancel the trip without refund, suspend or close the account, withhold payouts connected to the trip, and report the matter to the police or another authority. Partners who knowingly carry prohibited items face the same consequences.
If you are unsure whether something can be sent, write to support@tripzok.com before you book. A two-minute question is cheaper than a refused trip.
